Panasonic Comes Up With The BizPad, Targets Business Sector

Business may now regard tablet PC’s as a valuable tool to use for day to day operations. Unfortunately, most of today’s tablet PC’s are designed for general consumer use. Panasonic has recently offered to provide businesses with better options by introducing its new BizPad Tablet designed specifically for business and industry use.
The new Panasonic BizPad has features that might prove useful for different businesses and industries. The Panasonic BizPad features a 6.5 LCD touch screen display that provides good reading visibility even while outdoors. It also has a drop resistance strength of up to 1 meter and is IP54 compliant when it comes to dust and splash resistance. This rugged tablet also weighs around 600 grams, making it easy to carry around with just one hand.
The availability of multiple interfaces allows the Panasonic BizPad to be quite versatile when working with other devices. It comes with Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and IrDA standard support. It also has an SD Memory Card and USB slots to make it easy to connect with other external interfaces. Other features include a two dimensional scanner camera with flash, a contactless IC Card Reader and a 3G communication module. The new Panasonic BizPad is set to be introduced in an exhibit at the Retail Tech Japan 2011 at the Tokyo Big Sight this March 8 to 11, 2011. It will then soon be made available for the business and industry sector. There’s no word on its possible pricing yet.
